Join us for the 6th Annual Katie Duffin Memorial Toy Drive

Katie was a brave little girl who passed away during the summer of 2003 after putting up with a long brave battle with her second bout with a rare form of cancer. She is cousin to Brian Deal Div.22 Financial Secretary. Katie has her own website which tells the  story of her bout with cancer. Her family has started a foundation to spread awareness of cancer and help other sick children. The Philadelphia Fire Departments Engine 55, Ladder 22 and Medic 39 have distributed toys to the children of St. Christopher's hospital during the holiday season over the past couple of years since Katie's passing AOH Division 22 got involved with the collection and distribution of the toys for the children ages infant to 18. The toy drive was renamed in her memory.  Christmas we were able to donate over 2,000 toys since the toy drive began in  2003. This year we hope to double the number. Help us make the holiday season brighter for some special kids.

Katie's Foundation

Katie's Krusaders was started by the family and friends of Katie Ann Duffin to raise the community's, and ultimately the nation's, awareness of the incidence of cancer in children.  They will raise funds that will help provide some financial as well as personal support for children with cancer, as well as other childhood diseases, and their families during this most difficult time.  This is being done in memory of our beloved Katie Ann Duffin, who gives witness to the struggle, the bravery, and the boundless love of these children.

All proceeds from the sale of these items will go toward helping the families of children with cancer as well as Childhood Cancer Awareness programs.
